Desktop Business Jet Simulator
In this project, all available AVIONIC-Modules are used - the MCP, the Radio Stack and all the digital in- and outputs are fully powered by the Sim-Modules. The front panels are made out of painted opal-white acrylic glass, using a 60W laser cutter for cutting and engraving. The simulator itself is generic and can be used very flexible with different flight models - from a small Raython Hawker 400XP, to a medium-sized Bombardier Learjet 45 up to a Cessna Citation X, a whole fleet of private business jets can be authentically controlled using this home cockpit. The visual system is composed using three 42" LCD-TVs, resulting in a stunning surround panorama view of roughly 160°.
Beech Baron B58
This procedure trainer is a nice Beech Baron 58 Simulator, completely with home-made custom backlit panels - using only some acrylic glass, a hand drill and a laser printer.
